Buttercup the Chicken Crochet Pattern

Meet Buttercup! The adorable hen who comes complete with her own little nest. I designed this sweet chicken with the beginner in mind. I wanted a quick market friendly make, that also served well as a home decor item for the cottagecore/farmhouse enthusiasts out there, a cute toy for kids of all ages, or a thoughtful gift for the chicken lover in your life. You can use any size yarn (keep in mind this will change the finished size), and my favorite is faux fur to make a fluffy chicken! I used size 5 Bulky chenille velvet yarn, as well as 6/7 Super Bulky faux fur yarn for the chickens and nests in the product photos. This creates a chicken about 5" high and 5" long.
